I was very glad to get your letter of the 10th today. I was hungry for a letter. I was sorry to hear that your health had not been good. Hope you are feeling better now. How soon are you coming back? I do not know whether Mr. Mann will get away next week. We are getting along pretty well. John Shafer started to Holden, Missouri, yesterday. He expects to return Monday. I would like a half dozen nest eggs, if you can get them for a quarter. Your second letter, with Frankie's was received. I must hurry home, and so must close. Love to brother Edward's folks.
Your bro. John.
