It is a lovely day though some what cool.  Many thanks for your very good letter.  It was very acceptable.  We have Annie and John with us to-day which is very pleasant;  Seven of family attended church.  I had to teach Ed Martins class.  It is a class of boys average age of some about ten or twelve years, and such a class.  Harl says they talked so saucy to Mr. ((M)) that he has given up the class.  It is a very mischievous class, do you remember Willie Marshall the little coloured boy that the children call [[unclear]].  He was one.
