I suppose you like to hear often from us if we have nothing to say. We are I think, all well, most certainly I am, Irving cries most of the time when awake I think his teeth trouble him some and he very much need a little "wholesome neglect" pity he cant have it. Have not heard from I soul (Issac?)since you left. The Roman Catholic Cathedral was consecrated yesterday a great day for the Irish. Mr. [[Jebbels?]] commenced to finish off two chambers today, he hopes to get them plastered this week. he does them by the job. does the work and furnishes all material for $52.45. with what a different feeling I take hold to do any thing about the house now from what I have ever done before. I do it now because I know it ought to be done. it gives me no pleasure, my heart
