that they could hardly extend charity to the Jurors & magistrates that aquited them. And indeed God has since by his miediate hand given testimony against some persons that were violent in it to have had them put to death as I could instance in particulers, but shall endevor to avoyd all personal reflictions; But (recondam in corde meo) I wil lay up
these things on my heart.  Although I mention that story of this matter in this place yet it was towards the latter end of September, before these indians were tryed & acuitted,
all which time they remained in prison under great sufferings,
