here We met at the close and came home together. We had a pleasant walk home but Mary got rather tired. She had only cooked half of what she bought, thinking perhaps of keeping the rest for breakfast but her appetite proved too strong for her - I prepared the rest for her and then got her some bread and butter after which we each ate an apple from home. They are most gone and I must be looking out for some more.
