the night before to reach Remsen at 8-50 P.M, and Robbie was there to meet her - but she missed the train - so in the morning David Price went with his horse and brought her home - it was very stormy for her to come but we were so glad to see her. I have been almost sick with a very hard cold for three days - it began in the left side of my head and made me feel as tho' I was breathing needles - and my left eye and ear and temple ached so hard whenever I went into a cold room the first night - I took [?] the next [?] and last night Bell. - Yesterday and today I have kept a little shawl on my head and a large one on my shoulders except when I sit near the fire - I coughed some last night and today and hope the cold is moving preparatory to leave.
