Dear Annie,
Dear Annie,
I have returned from my visit and picnic  excursion in the country, have enjoyed myself very much, but now sorry to learn that I had missed seeing you. I was afraid you would come when I was gone. I told mother to keep you if you came until I got home, but that it seems she could not do, therefore to make amends. I am going to accept the invitation you gave me to spend a few days with you. If nothing occurs to prevent, I will take the 11 o'clock train on Friday morning. You will write and tell me I hope if it is convenient to you for me to come then, do not delay any visit
