I had my trunk with one all ready at the Depot last night to go with Belle to Louisville, and then gave it up on Eva's account as she don't feel well, Belle went with her baby Belle George Robby and Maggie. Mr Harvey could not go. I was so sorry to give up the journey. Mr Badger went this afternoon to the Home,s Circus with Ada and Hunt. They enjoyed it. Party ticket came to day for Mrs Doggetts party next week Sunday May 16, 1875 This has been a lovely day, but cold, all of us well. I went to church with Ada and Shreve, but the church was so cold that I came out and went to Mrs Hiltons and stayed awhile then went to Mr Harvey,s and saw John he is better. Dr Small called to see Eva she had some cold, Mrs Nelson came to see Eva and will come to her if necessity calls her. she is now at Mrs Stone,s Mr Harry came up to see me to night Monday May 17, 1875 This has been a beautiful day. all of us well, Ada gone to buy some natural flowers. Shreve bought a X new pair of pants, Sheridan gone to buy a musket. to night Mr Badger, Ada and myself all went to a party at Mrs Doggetts it was a Musical given to Mr Wolfsohn the Pianist, Miss Heiskill sang, after we had refreshments Tuesday May 18, 1875 This has been another lovely day cool but sunny all of us well. all morning we remained at home, but at two O, clock I ordered my Carriage and went visiting called on Mrs Crawford Mrs Kreigh Mrs Egan Mrs Sam Walker and Mother inlaw Badger. to our surprise when we got there they told us that Sophia had a son, he was born at seven O,clock this morning, he is named Charleton + Staples Badger. weighs six pounds. all doing well. Ella Badger came out also to tell us. Mr Harvey came up after supper. he wants Ada to go with him to morrow night to Louisville they are having a nice time with parties in Louisville, Belle writes all are very gay.
