Dear Brother Everett, Thank you very sincerely for your kind letter and the Book of your Poems. I have very sweet recollections of the Everetts at Steuben and in New York City. I edited a Department of the Cenhadwr while it was published by Mr Lewis Everett, before the Sale of it to Rev. Edward Davies. I commenced my pastoral charge of the Welsh Cong'l Ch. of Edwardsville, Jan 1. 1878 I was absent for the greater part of 2 yrs; 1891-1893. I am the only Pastor of the Church for 40 yrs.
