Sunday April 19th
It rained early this morning -- but now is clear -- I went to Trinity Church alone -- after dinner I went to west end to Father Badgers -- with my Husband and four children  Walter and [[Tare?]] -- who dined with us  Mr Badger went to night Church --
Monday April 20th
It looked like rain this morning -- and did rain while I was out visiting -- I took Ada and Sheridan with me in the morning  called to see Mrs Lamb -- Mrs Clyde -- Mrs Thomas  Mrs [[G...?]] & Whetherbe also Mrs Sharp Mrs Perry -- Mrs Hunter -- Mrs G. P. Stone -- Mrs Howard and Mrs Gillet -- Mrs Cannon & Mrs Buchanan -- Mrs Carter Harrison  I met and took her with me -- she has the Grasshopper Club meet at her house thursday night.  I took Belle & Eva with me riding in afternoon -- children invited to morrow night to a little party at Dr Rutters -- Mrs Turnley,s little girl gives it -- after Tea Mr Bigelow came in and played a game of [[I?]]uchre with us.
Teusday April 21st
It rains this morning -- baby has cold -- but better this morning -- I think I will go out to day -- Mr Badger gives up this palace we now live in on the first of May -- we have taken Alex Whites house -- children all four went to Miss Turnleys party -- Mr Badger & I went after them -- they had a nice time

Wednesday April 15th 1863.

This morning it rained but now it is clear. we are all busy to day making preparations for the Sewing Society this afternoon. they came at three -- and sewed untill Six. there were twenty five sewing on fancy articles for a fair, that is to be for the Unitarian Church -- after tea we had a band of Music, and a large number of the Congregation young and old came in -- we had many young ladies and Gentlemen. we danced untill ten O.clock -- then we had supper for the crowd -- we had a nice time -- Ella stayed all night with us --

Thursday April 16th

It is a beautiful day -- Ella went home after breakfast -- Mrs Tuttle and Miss Emerson came to see me -- at five Mr Badger came for me to go and see Whites house on Wabash and Hubbard Court. we returned home too late to go to Depot to see our relations off -- Mr & Mrs Hilton & Ella, gone to Louisville.

Friday April 17th

Again it is fine weather -- I wrote home -- and will go shopping to day -- went to the Office and Father Badger took me to see his portrait, Mr Honore took dinner with us -- children all well out playing.

Saturday April 18th
