This morning at eight O.clock -- Rev Thomas & lady came and took breakfast with us.  at eleven we all went walking with them  after our walk we took street Cars.  and Mr Thomas and wife Ade Sheridan & myself all went out to the City limits for a ride -- after that we separated she for her home and I for mine -- Mr Badger and myself went out to Mr Honore,s to tea -- there we met -- Father Badger and Ella -- Sister Hilton [[coudin?]] Generett & Husband -- Mr & Mrs bRyant -- Mr & Mrs Harrison -- Mrs Bronson & Sister Miss Mulker -- Frank Honore -- we had a nice supper -- after that we danced untill late -- missed the Car -- and Frank Honore brought us all in at two O. clock in double seated Buggy -- we had a charming time -- moonlight and not very cold --

Teusday March 31st 1863
This is a sunny morning -- but in the night it snowed a little  at two O. clock to day -- we go to see Dollie Dutton -- and take all the children, but Eva, she not well enought -- Dollie is eleven years old -- weighs 15 pound and can easily walk under Gen-- Tom Thumbs arm -- she is a little curiosity -- we all in health  after tea Mr Bigelow came in and took tea with us -- we played cards untill late -- Belle has severed Earache to night -- Mr & Mrs Thomas went with us to see Dollie --
Wednesday April 1st 1863.
This is April fools day -- my little ones are having much fun -- Belle,s ear better -- she off to school -- I went shopping with Licinia & Ella -- at 12-- we went with Mr Hunt to Carbutts Gallery -- to see some fine Stereoscopic views -- which we enjoyed --  Mr Hunt came in after tea -- and we spent a pleasant evening --
Thursday April 2nd 1863.
This is a bright morning -- after breakfast I took a Carriage and went with Eva to Dearborn Seminary -- to Belle,,s examination, Eva being unwell for some days -- did not take part in the exercises -- as was intended -- I enjoyed it much -- Belle did well -- at three O. clock. I went with Mr Badger Mr Honore and Mr Hayes -- to see a very handsome house on the West side -- it belongs to Mr Hayes -- It is a beautiful house -- Mr Badger talks of buying it -- after Tea -- Henry Wheeler came in -- and we spent a pleasant evening -- received letters from home -- all better --
Friday April 3rd
I went with the children to the Seminary this morning to see examination of the young ladies -- it was good, and the Calisthenics were very fine -- all were in bloomer Costume -- after Tea we went again to a literary meeting -- it was also good -- the young ladies read many compositions -- we had also Music
