I have had the privilege of knowing P.P.B. for many years and had read his book "Chi . it Jews" with very great interest. I know of no one who thru a large + varied acquaintance was better? equipped than he to write upon this restoring? theme and I take great pleasure in recommending the book to all those interested in the expanding life of Chicago.
