In the [[unclear; forefront?]] of February, I do not remember the precise dates, as acting Ordnance Sergeant 1st Neb. Cav. V.V. I was directed to receive Eleven boxes of Ordnance and ordnance Store turned over by Lieut. W. H. Northrop 7th [[?]] Iowa Cav. and Act. ord. officer District of Nebraska to Col. R. R. Livingston 1st Neb. Cav V.V. The invoices (Five in number) [[bore?]] date respectively Jany.16th and January 21st 1865; the former contained (10) boxes. the latter (1) box; and the Storrs were enumerated as follows.
