I wend a little way with them home, and Mary Roberts and I went in and explored the wonders of Hannah Roberts old house the famous haunted house. We saw no ghosts however. You have doubtless read in the papers of the mysterious atmospheric body that produced such disastrous effect in Sherfield and elsewhere. Did you see or hear it at the time? We can not but feel grateful that though it passed over the city, it did no harm to our loved ones there, - Have you seen the comet yet? We have not, but have heard it could be seen in the daytime through smoked glass. - Don't be worried about the Cen.
