your proposed journey - but my letter did not reach him in time.  He sent a card requesting us to explain this to you.  I was almost sick last week and I put off writing day by day.  I am better now but Anne has taken a hard cold.  We had a cold rain and some snow Sunday.  It cleared off in the afternoon and A. went with Mary to evening meeting.  Today she went with me down to see Nellie Thomas 10th St. and one fear she took cold both yesterday and today.  Mrs. Jardine and her niece are moving out the first of next month so we will have the flat all to ourselves for a time.  Mary thinkgs she will keep it so next month so that we can [[unclear]] together better We shall be going back to [[unclear]] probably early in June if the weather grows warm enough.  We shall write to keep you advised more [[unclear]]
