Sunday, 7. Heavy firing in direction of Vicksburg this morning. Had an inspection of Regiment under arms this morning Passed off well though very hot. Capt. Bishop buried this evening. Rec'd order to send 4 companies to Goodrich Landing Companies were sent under Major Compton. Rec'd letter from Sister Lib & wrote a reply. Have some fear of attack | |||
