I was disturbed in the night & did not rest very well and did not feel well enough this morning to go to the office & therefore send my orderly to Major Mills. Wiggins brought me some tea & toast for breakfast. & I have remained as quiet as possible at my quarters. Lieut Smither has been here & I have dictated the necessary orders and instructions for "D" Company to go into the field.
