Cold day - Mrs [[Axtill?]] is moving to day. Sherman + I dinied at Mr Hale's + at night we invited him to take supper + spent the evening at Col [[unclear]] house with Dr [[Unclear]] along  Mr [[Cuer?]] along. Charlie Wilson along. Dr [[Crup?]] + [[lady?]] + a Miss [[unclear]]. SPent a very pleasant evening + returning at 10 o'clock find the office deserted.
