Vols 1 &2, in vain,  it occurred to me that possibly it might be with my books that came from N.G., and have been boxed up so long. I borrowed a few books once after mother’s death. Had offered the two boxes a few days ago, finding them all night,[ ] , to my great pleasure, there was the missing book all night. Have put it with the others to go to Merrill. Bertha is most well of her shingles. I was her doctor as the [[have?]] Homeopathy at home. Aconite set the baby right I wanted Jane to counsult Dr. S. as he is her physician and understands her. She has an attack like this every year she says just at this time in haying.
