Speaking of "rolph" I was walking out a few days ago to the River & met a party of the jeweses, including Mrs Naltern. They inquired after you & the "leetell" dog - this brought Rolph at once in to disaprove & Mrs N said that she got him at Nanaimo & brought him to Sitka in a cigar box when a little pup - she gave him to Capt [[Dinyan]], he gave him to Mr. [[Egen]] &c - so you see Rolphs birth place | |||
