Tuesday, March 12, 1901 Ada out.
Ada out.
This morning cloudy, and cold, everything is frozen. at three O,clock the Sun came out, Frances gone to Winetka to a Sewing Club. after four O clock Ada gone to the Postfield still heavy clouds, look likes Snow, or rain.   I received a letter of thanks today. Mrs. Reardon sick in bed Mrs. Tolman send me a card of thanks from Mrs Tolman, on her granddaughter, of birthday, and thanks for the Souvenir of my golden Wedding, all of us well.  Mrs. [[blank]] Mastick of San Francisco is dead  her husband died nine days before a dear friend of Mrs. Cowles.
