My dear good husband. | |||
I have just sung our darling Eddie to sleep, & he is now far away in dreamland. I wish I could tell you that he is quite well, but I cannot do that & tell the truth. He is not very unwell -- is playing & frolicing from morning till might, Still he has a diarrhea & has had since we left LaPorte. He is no worse now than he was then, & I don't think he is any better. His appetite is pretty good but I am very careful what he eats. To-night I put a flannel around his bowels, & gave him some brandy, & I hope to find him better in the morning. He likes New England Seasons very much apparently, -- finds many new things |

I have just sung our darling Eddie to sleep, & he is now far away in dreamland. I wish I could tell you that he is quite well, but I cannot do that & tell the truth.
