Nothing but the hurry and complete occupation of Commencement week could have kept me from writing and acknowledging those beautiful forgetmenots the day I received them. They came Wednesday morning, just the right time, and I put them down cellar in water immediately and they revived and became as sweet and fresh as could be desired. I showed them to the lady at the greenhouse and she said they were entirely different from any she ever saw. cross-written across top: our weeks seem to be nowadays. Mary is real good help. She does our washing and ironing now. You don't know how much I want to see you all or even any of you.
