The Commission has been charged with permitting the Attornies, or some of them, to prepare their cases as they pleased, and deciding upon them without proper investigation. The truth of these charges, and the extent of such decisions as have incurred them, can only be discovered from the original papers.  The impediments cast by the difficulties  just mentioned in the way of an investigation, are no doubt startling ones; but are they inseperable ? --  I should think not entirely so.  True, the examination & comparison of the chaotic books & papers comprizing all the labor for three years of three commissioners, and extending over some twelve or fifteen thousand cases, can be no light task; especially as the mass of undigested documents is said to exceed a ton (!) in weight, and the examination must be very minute; the smallest claimant having an equal right to strict justice with the largest.  Nevertheless, by perseverance and proper aid & co-operation, the dis-entanglement, (even admitting that its difficulty has not been exaggerated), can no doubt be accomplished, except where the original
