Then soon after they left, we all went down the river about thirty miles to Sailor's Encampment to spend a couple of weeks with the Johnston girls, of whom I told you, their Indian descent etc. They have a little shanty of two rooms right near the river and also a "lodge" made of hemlock and birch bark
