Today was the funeral of Mrs Henry W King, she leaves one son Francis, Mrs [Pomeroy?] & Mrs Bentley. I received cards of congratulation from Rev [D.?] and Mrs Clinton Locke. also a card of thanks from [Miss?] Jean Bouk for the book I sent her. also a note of thanks for sympathy, from Mrs Louise Duffield Parker, 2509. Harrison st Evanston. I wrote a letter of thanks to Mrs Philip [[Battet?]] Stewart Colorado Springs, Col, San Ruphel St. I wrote a letter to Adele Louise Badger, bidding her good bye, as she returns to Notre dame Academy, Indiana, her vacation is over. |
