Dear Jack

Lucked out and had my long weekend last week. Drove to Sonoma Thursday eve and stayed overnight so we missed most of the big wind. Gusts up to 101 mph at Point Reyes hard by Bolimas where we had thought of going. On the Gate bridge the wind was a steady 65 mph.
Yesterday winds seldom exceeded 30 knots. Today is calm so Frisco will be loaded with touristi. [sic] Highways will be clogged with cars going from no place in particular to no other place in general.
Except for Frau Kraut's eternal television and the UAAL (Upper Ariela Atheletic [sic] League) which is what we call the kids playing in Ariela street, the Marina is quiet.
Billy Cisby is pitching with his right while his left holds the Kazoo on which he plays Battle Hymn of the Republic. Never gets past where the grapes of wrath are stored.
My arthritis is giving me Hell so I am going the route of asperin [sic] and Steam Beer. Asperin helps my arthritis and Steam Beer helps me. It is the only brew indigenous to America and now is brewed only in Frisco. Contains no carbonation but gets its sparkle from "Casening" a rebrewing process akin to the refermentation of champagne.
