Instead of seeing the reviews in the papers about the Jack Conroy Reader, I heard one on "Critic's Choice," WFMT, by Herman Kogan. He spent the whole half-hour one Sunday, discussing the book and your writings. I was very gratified to hear it. The enclosed clipping was sent to me by Gordon Crandall, from the Tribune. Maybe it is the same review you mention in your letter, as of March 16. | |||
I am sorry that you do not have occasional book reviews appearing in the Sun-Times. Or is it because I don't read the Sunday papers any more? Its too time-consuming, and I have loads of other reading material to attend to. | |||
