C.B.S. has a relatively new series, All in the Family, 8:30 P.M. on Tuesdays here. Watching it on its premiere about a month ago, thought it bore a strong resemblance to one we used to enjoy when we lived in England. Almost lost in the credits was the acknowledgement (real small type) that the new series was based on the BBC-TV series, 'Till Death Do Us Part; one of the funniest series I've ever seen, though at times obscene. Now a big fat hit here, and I hope the original author and BB.B.C. get good returns.

re. Calley: a newspaper "bio" on Calley says he was a low-brow, low-intellect before army service, graduated low in officer training (O.C.S), was a strikebreaker on the Seaboard Air Line during a B. of R.T. strike.

C.B.S. has a relatively new series, underlined: All in the Family, 8:30 P.M. on Tuesdays here. Watching it on its premiere about a month ago, thought it bore a strong resemblance to one we used to enjoy when we lived in England. Almost lost in the credits was the acknowledgement (real small type) that the new series was based on the BBC-TV series, underlined: 'Till Death Do Us Part', one of the funniest series I've ever seen, though at times obscene. Now a big fat hit here, and I hope the original author and B.B.C. get good returns.
