5 miles is Woll rd - U Huerfano W.S.W. 5 miles but the whole of the Huerfano lies 1 mile further - joined 5 miles along the rd - then 3 to 4 East & struck the Frio River River moderately broad & flow plenty fast - pebbly bottom very large rather of a Silicon rock with fine [[crys?]] lots of quartz - We are about 2 Miles below the Woll rd - Had a counsel of war what to do with the Mexican - Some were for __ him - other to keep him with us - fearing he might be a Spy - at last agreed to let him go - on our rd found that he had had a much [[aho?g?]] with him - [[words faded]] | |||
