The Alieuts were out of stores; especially groceris- this was owing to the fact that an insufficient amount had been laid in for Isle ? by the traders permitted to remain on the Island. These traders had next to nothing to sell; but I observed their store rooms were filled with all the seal skins taken on the Island during the first year - I think the management of these reservations under the unclear
