Hope that Gladys has been mending satisfactorily-What a way to greet Christmas! By this time have your thousands of books found their new home on those new bookshelves? Dear Jack, Hope that Gladys has been mending satisfactorily - What a way to greet Christmas! By this time have your thousands of books found their new home on those new bookshelves? I've no good idea of what winter's like in Moberly - but hope it's being hospitable to the Conroys and that you're finding the house more and more to your liking. You've missed nothing as far as Chicago is concerned re the weather - The less said about that the better. Around the office we're all also missing Don Russell - but his new set up sounds mighty congenial. You must know all his colleagues, of course. Will look forward to your April visit, Jack - for lunch, if you can make it - or whatever. The enclosed clips may be dated by now. Anyway...I think Win withdrew from the race - lack of a support base, I guess. Ruth and Helen join me in wishing the Conroys the best. Always. Harry
