1st This subject may well call up an attention to a strict examination of ourselves, to see whether our prayers for sanctification and growth in grace are answered We all at times profess to pray for the pardon of our sins, we Vow to be = ths Lords servants forever, devoted to his fear & to keep all his commands - These vows are frequent on fast days We doubtless have crossed out words prayed, at least outwardly
