Darling Tafern,
Darling Tafern,
The place for the N.Y. Symphony is taken by baseball this aft. so here goes.  Thanks for Hick's basket. Cora and Clarence came for me before the mail was delivered that brought my 4th O.A.A. check, so the $6 00 came in very handy.

Was it necessary for Miss Mallory's health that she had to have a drink of tea before the Union meeting? There is nothing more unappetizing than cold mashed potato, seems to me, but since chicken can be eaten hot or cold, that doesn't matter so much -  and congealed gravy! O My! Well. I'm glad you could play for them

Sorry, for now that I have the 22 foot ladder, I could have the tree all
