heard with you and Papa - the last one I ever went to with you both. Then Wednesday morning, I don't know what. The Kenneys - the baby sleeping quietly on the bed - Mr. Miller, Cora and Elmore were here last evening. We heard Pinafore given from Jax by Choral Society. They did very well, but slightly amateurish. Heard the dinner program from PIttsburgh from 6 to 7. Am sure Uncle will not keep the radio. Says there is too much g-r-r-r-r. But last night it was fine. I heard the lecture - recital on the development of music last evening after the others had gone to bed. Enjoyed it very much. Also at twelve got up and turned it on for a few notes to see what was going on - a negro song, so I shut it off. This set is a wonder, The tone is so rich and mellow and everything as clear as if in the room when no static.
