                  I have just had such a sweet letter from home! or rather such an interesting little bunch of notes, for Mother wrote a little and Anna and Sis and little Eddy. It would do your hearts good if you could only read what each of those dear ones have written. Oh, my dear sisters, can we ever be thankful enough that we form a part of such a happy family? It is so dark that I cannot see to write straight, but I though I could not let this letter go without telling you what a dear good one I just had from home. They were all well and seemed in first rate spirits. Ann has brought a light in now, and I will write a few words more. Sis writes that she got home a week ago yesterday after being away sixteen weeks. The dear little thing seems almost beside herself with joy at being home once more. How
