Mr | Mr S H. Barnett has sold the land which you held the $1000.00 Mortgage on and wants to pay off the loan. I told him I thought I could arrange it with you. So if you will send me the note & Mortgage I will stand good to you so you will not loose any interest untill [sic] I get you another loan. I do not care to leave the loan on with the party who gets the lands. Would you like to place it for 3 or 5 years I think I have a fine loan for it on Jany 1st to 15th if you would like it The farm is worth at least $4000.00.
