I've no news to write about. Things go along here comfortably. Included some notices of next; or rather this week's bill - a lurid melo-drama which I think is very "awful" from a literary point of view; but "What's the odds" if it pleases the public and it does. I'm sleeping splendidly - my body feels strong - my spirits are excellent and I don't have those fits of restless depression I used to undergo. I haven't had but one cold since I came here. The weather now is perfect; soft and balmy - with that "nip" enough in the air to make one feel good. My play will very shortly be |
