One of the switchmen said that he had bought a house for $1600 00 and had paid all but $400 00 and that if he was held out of work four or five months that he would lost it all and wanted to know if the brotherhood of engineers would buy it back for him.  Kavanaugh said that he did not think they could but that he thought the men should all be loyal.  To this the switchman said "I want to be a man among men but about this loyalty be damned you people seem to have got out the switchmen now and think they should do everything and you people do nothing" why when there is a committee appointed and we work an engineer upon it, you say no "let a switchman go"  There were several short speeches made but none of importance.  They had several switchmen who had come an [[unclear]] Reading to go to work but refused to do so  A collection was made for them and they
