Sunday Aug 7 1898. John preach on "Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord." I taught 3 or 4 S S classes doubled up. 32 present at Lake Ave. decided on picnic for Wed. Roscius G. led C.E. Went to Meth Ch in eve with Louis Hecock. Mon 8. rain all a.m. wrote letters to Horace and Leon. p.m. to hill lot after corn fodder. & put slug-shot on cabbages. Then forked over manure pile. Eve. Missonary mtg. address by blind Mr. Riggs of Turkey on Publication dept. of Missnry work. Tues 9 sold 3 1/2 bus potatoes 1.35 all of us kids pick pears Tyson tree out by pasture. Sold 3 bus at Fisherville 50 cts a bus. p.m. pick pears. finish the tree. Eve. call on Becker and spoke to S.S. Rockwood on street about Fay Co. Wed 10 Lake Ave. S.S. Picnic.
