Apl 12 [[unclear]] or Mrs Sam Masters who [[ belongs?]] on the White Earth reservation was going to Bear Island with [[Noh-bish-koh-weh-quod?]] and at the North End of the Island ran onto thin ice. one side of the sleigh broke the ice and turned both into the cold water before they could be rescued both were greatly exhausted and the women died soon after being taken from the water.
