Your letter of [[ | Your letter of [[Feb.?]] 13th, last week Friday, came tonight. I am certainly lucky this week. Last week I believe I got but two letters, though I wrote five I think. This week I have received that number already. Yesterday yours of the 11th, and today of the 13th. Yesterdays troubled me some, with the pleasure of hearing from you, to think of your getting frightened about the fire. And today of your getting frightened again by the untimely caller. A big & cross watch dog would be an excellent thing about a house to induce such callers to satisfy their desire for information some where else. | ||

Your letter yesterday was a nice one, and one from Jennie too; but my letter last night I guess was only a scrawl.
