Feb. 26th we have just received letters from you dated Feb. 12 Your letters seems to come pretty regularly I cant think why you dont get letters oftener we have none of us been remiss about writing to you. But perhaps you have reciev'd ever so many before now. I hope S. Conant will be beneficial to Isaac and do well for himself. I was surprised to hear that he was there the worst fault I know of him (tho' I know but little about him) is that he is apt to talk large . He is I guess rather an excentric character tho' pretty good in the main. His Father has made his will gave S. only 50,00 & Hervey all the rest. Sam'l is big enough to do something but I should think him not so fit for any Mechanical business the children have been unwell with colds Josie was quite sick a few days but is better now Charlie cried with the earache considerable one night and Mary is very much troubled with her teeth she has got 6 of her fore teeth and one double tooth just cut thro' O' I hope you have got many of our letters & will write & tell all what to about the farm &c. |
