Edwards now informs me that I can have a situation upon the Vermont and Massachusetts Rail Road as an Assistant Engineer. And to begin in a day or two. Probably Monday or Tuesday of next week. So I can not well have time to return to Bangor or any where else for my fixings and must have my trunk sent on in the best possible manner by express perhaps. You know best how as far as Boston. - After that, "Fitchburg Railroad, via Baldwinsville, to Northfield." I Shall not be at Northfield probably but I do not yet know where I shall be, and at any rate I can get it from here. | ||
