From this town I entered into still wilder regions; having left the main road - my way led over the hills and along the beds of some dry rivulets for 23 miles - a fine shade for a hot day in June - a hut from 1, to 7 miles apart. - & country quite [[poor?]] - now & then a thing called a "mill" propelled by an old frame of a horse I learned, it was their "grist-mill" - | ||
