Rev. Herrick Johnson and the Theaters: Is this position tenable?
The modern Theater as an institution has rarely if ever, been assailed with greater Energy tact and logic than that displayed by Rev Dr Herrick Johnson, Pastor of the 4th Presby - Ch. in his recent arraignment of the Theaters of this City. It is certainly refreshing to see a man of his acknowledged ability & thesp? Standing leaving for once the domain of doctrinal discussion, and attacking a present and popular Evil and all the more, because this popularity has gained some foothold in the Churches themselves
