Chicago July 24th 1888.  H.B. Stone Esq  General Manager C.B.&Q.R.R.  Chicago  Dear Sir.  Following find report of Opr. F.W. dated at Aurora Ills. July 23rd 1888.  Opr reports that while among the strikers he learned the following  Dutchy Koegte said that he was on to 2 Pinkertons and one of them had asked him to take lunch with him.  said he would not eat with a Pinkerton S of a B for the Q. Road.  Koegte and West Fisher had a long talk together walked away from the rest of the men.  [[unclear]]  Wm DeGerald are hard workers at the Fair.  they are there Constantly since the Fair Opened  Fransworth is going to work in the Country Johnson a Striking Switchman said youl see there will be a harder time for the Company than the Dynamite.  At The Youngs there was not much talk about anything only about the Boycott and what the Brotherhood will do and etc.  Nothing Official coming from the Brotherhoos direct.  But mearly talk of the Strikers that have the least to do with it, Freeman said Well all the Wholesale places and Manufacturers of
