I arrived here Wednes. Morn before breakfast - at Mr. Chase's:- well, but somewhat fatigued,- had a fine time on my journey expect I shall talk you all out when I get there. I shall have so much to tell, there is no pleasure is writing any thing when I expect so soon to see you face to face. Yesterday and day before I took to get rested,- | I arrived here Wednes. I shall have so much to tell, there is no pleasure is writing any thing when I expect so soon to see you face to face. Yesterday and day before I took to get rested,- chiefly:-- to day, have called & dined at Mr. B. Metcalf, and engaged to spend tomorrow and Sabbath at Dr. Pomroy's: I have not called at Mrs. Child's think I shall not;- but perhaps shall on Mrs. Ball. I intend to start next Tues. P. M. in the case the boat leaves Portland in the evening reaches Bangor the next morning so if nothing happens to prevent I shall see Bangor next Wednes. morning. Your card I will endeavour to find on my way down Washington Street tomorrow. | ||
