Your plans in respect to my spending a part of next season at Milo with Libby is I must confess a very inviting one to me on many accounts, I have no doubts but it would be highly beneficial as well as pleasant, but there are objections & obstacles which make it very improbable. The doctor's Western bonds are turned into "dead lends" for the present, requiring outlay (he has just sent about 100 dolls to secure in) & while Hattie is away at school we ought not to journey much, if this objection were not insufferable, I do not see how I would leave doctor lonely & alone, & he could not be absent from the Bank long.
