Your letter just received and we have done some scolding.  We had invited Paul Thayer, hoping that you & Aariah would be here to help entertain him.  I am afraid he will not have a good time.  Ethel does not expect to come to stay over Sunday.

Harriet has an idea that nothing can be done very well here without "Annie." They will get along someway , ((unclear)) will doubtless come over.  All Well.
